Cambridge is a small town in southern Waikato, which is about a 20-minute drive south of Hamilton. Cambridge is a small farming community, it is full of beautiful buildings and friendly people, Cambridge is a great place to stop by if you are driving down the country through state highway 1.

What to expect.


Cambridge is full of nice locals with a great community. You can expect to be treated nicely when passing through as this is a tourist town. Cambridge is known as an old person town, with most of the population either being farmers, commuters to Hamilton or retired folk.
