Otorohanga is a rural town with excellent shopping and service industries, it is located in southern Waikato, which is about a 30 minute drive south of Te Awamutu along state highway 3 towards New Plymouth or Te Kuiti, Otorohanga is a small farming community, it is home to the world famous Kiwi House & Native Bird Park, Otorohanga has some popular walks, Otorohanga is a great place to stop by if you are driving down or up the country.
Otorohanga is a great tourist destination with Waitomo Caves Village and an amazing range of tourist things to do only 15 minutes from the centre of town
